Wizard Lee
A few years ago, when I was first cutting my teeth as an illustrator, Feet 1st Lee hit me up with a bold plan: to create individual pieces of art for each beat he would release for the entire summer under his moniker WIZARD LEE. He gave me some cash and said “Make me some art.” After freaking out that someone was going to pay me to make some original art I spent a few nights chipping away at the project at hand. When I passed off the first finished images, Lee responded with several flame emoji, which was the custom back then to show enthusiasm. Then we proceeded to make three summers worth of art together: a song for every day, and a different visual component to match. Rinse and repeat. I’m really proud of the work Wizard Lee and the good folks at Feet 1st studios have made together and my part within that humble legacy.
